GENIE resources: DOCUMENTATION

   * GENIE-1 (biogeochemistry focused) user manual, with details of the namelist parameters given in a seperate PDF file Table.
   * Various tutorials, including example model configurations, experimental designs, and associated namelist parameter descriptions.
   * The genie HOW-TO - potted explanations of how to get useful stuff done, e.g., spinning up deep-sea sediment distributions.
   * The soon-to-be infamous Super-quick-start Guide to getting going with GENIE.

GENIE resources: VISUALIZATION and OBSERVATIONS

   * Mutlab plotting functions and 'masks'. NOTE: R2008a and prior releases of MUTLAB require that a netCDF toolbox is installed (see: MEXNC on sourceforge.net). R2008b and after releases of MUTLAB have native (built-in) netCDF support. Plotting functiosn have been revised to be suitably complient.
   * Observations on GENIE grid.

GENIE resources: MODEL CONFIGURATIONS AND EXPERIMENTAL DESIGNS

   * Experiment meta-configuration and run script (for almond): old_rungenie.sh (non-xml).
   * Tutorial user config (experimental design) namelist parameter files: individually and as a tar-ball.
   * Tutorial tracer forcing definitions: individually and as a tar-ball.
   * Model re-starts. Please note that the binary format biogeochem restart files provided are platform specific and can only be guaranteed for an AMD-64/ifort system.

GENIE resources: WORKSHOPS and PRACTICAL CLASSES

   * 28-30th July 2008 School of Geographical Sciences, Bristol: course materials. Please note that the binary format biogeochem restart files provided are platform specific and can only be guaranteed for an AMD-64/ifort system.
   * GEOGM1110
   * EASCM0030
   * Utrecht 2009
   * UoB 22nd-23rd July 2009
   * Penn State 2009
   * UoB 26th-27th August 2009

Miscellaneous

   * Project home page for the Grid Enabled Integrated Earth system model - GEnIE (a Grid-based, modular, distributed and scaleable Earth System Model for long-term and paleo-climate studies). Sounds good? Hell; that's because it is ;)
   * Graphics resources (various project logos and GEnIE model schematics).
   * Original marine carbon cycle 'tutorial' (including cb/s-goldstein user-manual), in html and PDF formats.This is actually something of a standard project joke, as it is well known that I rarely get around to finishing anything useful. Maybe I should get my finger out? You, the jury decide. Vote here.
   * Miscellaneous model documentation such as descriptions of previous model versions and stuff.

OLD: CBS-GOLDSTEIN version 8

   * Multiple paleogeography enabled model and release notes.
   * DEVELOPMENT VERSION: model and current change log.
   * DEVELOPMENT VERSION - valid configuration sets: modern ocean-only; modern ocean-only with ballasting enabled; modern ocean + sediments (no ballasting); end Permian ocean-only
   * 'user manual'; in html (may not be there yet!) and PDF formats.
